My name is Alexis Young (she/her).
I am a Chinese-Filipino 2D artist and kidlit illustrator based in Canada. I am heavily inspired by colour and lighting situations observed in my daily life and travels. Through digital illustration, I aim to capture moments of discovery and tell coming-of-age stories all with a bit of magic and a whimsical nature.
My story interests include, but are not limited to:
Adventure and the exploration of new worlds
Environmental awareness and sustainability
Friendship and animal companions
Chinese/Filipino culture and folklore
Retelling of heroes and mythology
